Quadsaw
Teclit’s innovations are diverse, but he is best known for his patented brainwave, the Quadsaw - the first-ever square cutter.
In a pre-Quadsaw world, builders had no way to cut square holes into plasterboard for sockets and switches: they had to spend several minutes drilling four corner holes then sawing the rest out by hand. So far, so tedious.

Converted rotary to lateral motion in four straight blades, set in a rectangle
